BCHS director receives state award
Penny Shaull, (center) director of health information
management at Battle Creek Health System was recognized
recently with the 2009 Community Service and Professional
Service Award from the Gift of Life Foundation in Michigan.
She is one of only six in the state to receive the award.
She improved organ donation in Battle Creek by speeding
up the hospital's notification given to Gift of Life
when a patient becomes a potential organ donor.
