BCHS educator receives second certification
Wendy Walsemann, RN, BSN, CCRN, PCCN, clinical educator in the cardio-pulmonary
department at Battle Creek Health System, recently received
her progressive care certification (PCCN) from the American
Association of Critical Care Nurses.
The first exam was given in 2004 and to date approximately
1,500 RNs nationwide have successfully completed the
test. The exam focuses on the care of the acutely ill
adult patient. In addition to Walsemann's progressive
care certification, she is also certified as an adult
critical care registered nurse (CCRN).
